I designed and built this clean, minimalist website for Wellington-based poet David Beach to showcase his sonnets online. The multipage layout features a black and white aesthetic, punctuated with vibrant pops of colour through carefully chosen LA-themed imagery—paying homage to the settings of several of his books.

As someone who isn’t tech-savvy, David needed a site that was simple to manage and easy to navigate. I guided him through every step, explaining things in plain language and making sure the final result felt intuitive and accessible. The result is a digital home that presents his work clearly, professionally, and on his own terms.

As a gold card holder and lifetime technophobe the prospect of starting a website was somewhat daunting. But with her expertise and enthusiasm Jodi turned my ideas for the site into reality. I feel that I now have a premier platform for haranguing the world about how the Pulp Fiction briefcase contains a time machine. And Jodi even threw in showing me how to access junk mail on my phone!
