New Zealand Timber Preservation Council (NZTPC)
WEBSITE DESIGN
The New Zealand Timber Preservation Council (NZTPC) required a revitalised online presence to better serve its members and stakeholders. Previously, the NZTPC website was outdated, unstable, and had not been updated since 2012, causing accessibility and performance issues.
I spearheaded the complete restructure, content rewrite, redesign, and rebuild of the NZTPC website as part of a larger project for the New Zealand Timber Industry Federation (NZTIF). This involved taking a step back to identify the critical information needed, eliminating duplication, and clearly defining the target audience and key messages for NZTPC. The content was meticulously reformulated to ensure clarity, conciseness, and relevance to the audience.
The redesigned NZTPC website now seamlessly integrates with the NZTIF and Verified Timber sites which were redesigned in unison, forming a cohesive online family. It features a modern, stable design tailored to NZTPCβs specific brand colours and identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms while addressing the unique needs of timber preservation. The new website is user-friendly, reliable, and effectively communicates NZTPCβs role and initiatives, enhancing their ability to engage with members and the broader community.
Words from the client
βWe have had the pleasure of working with Jodi Markham from Made by Markham over the last six months as she has worked through the process of Developing three separate Websites operated by the NZ Timber Industry Federation.
The Websites contained a degree of technical information and I was impressed how quickly Jodi grasped the importance of this information and worked to incorporate it within the developed sites in a timely and cost effective manner.
The set out of the new sites is logical straightforward and is a vast improvement on our previous sites. I would have no difficulty in recommending Jodi for work of this nature.
We love it Jodi - Thank you!β
