Verified Timber needed a robust and modern online presence to effectively showcase their certification services within the timber industry. Their previous website, part of a trio managed by the New Zealand Timber Industry Federation (NZTIF), was either outdated and unstable or underperforming despite a recent Squarespace rebuild. This fragmented online presence hindered Verified Timber’s ability to reach and engage their target audience.

I led the full restructure, content rewrite, redesign, and rebuild of the Verified Timber website, ensuring it aligned with the overarching goals of NZTIF and its associated organisations. The project involved a strategic reassessment of the necessary information, removing duplication, and clearly defining the audience and key messages specific to Verified Timber. The content was carefully crafted to be clear, concise, and tailored to the needs of stakeholders seeking certification services.

The result is a sleek, modern website that is part of a cohesive family of sites supporting NZTIF, NZTPC, and Verified Timber. The Verified Timber site features a consistent design aesthetic with strong hi-viz orange elements, reflecting its brand identity while maintaining uniformity across the family of websites. The new design is stable, user-friendly, and effectively highlights Verified Timber’s certification processes and benefits, enhancing their credibility and accessibility within the timber industry.
